Where this cup comes from
Halflight is the same Peruvian coffee twice over: half of it regular, half of it decaffeinated with water. Blended together, roasted medium.
What that gets you is a cup that still tastes like the coffee it came from — the lemon brightness survives better here than in a full decaf, sitting over cocoa and a caramel sweetness — without the whole of what usually comes with it.
