Where this cup comes from
In the highlands of Embu, on fertile volcanic slopes near Mount Kenya, some three hundred smallholders bring each day’s harvest to the Ena factory, where the cherries are sorted, washed, and dried on raised beds with the precision Kenya is famous for. The prized SL28 and SL34 varieties, ripened slowly at altitude, produce exactly what makes Kenyan coffee sing — a bright, juicy cup of cherry and grapefruit with a smooth, caramel finish.
